Threshold

Everything that happens when someone joins, changes role or leaves, in one place.

The problem

A leaver's last day was three weeks ago. Their email still works, their laptop is in a drawer somewhere, and nobody is sure which systems they could get into.

Who it is for

Any organisation of 20 to 250 people, especially those with client data or security audits.

What it does

  • Role-based checklists that split tasks between HR, IT, facilities and the line manager, each with an owner and a date.
  • Equipment register: who holds which laptop, phone, card or key, and when it comes back.
  • Access record: which systems each person was given, when, by whom, and when access ended.
  • Starter paperwork: contract, right to work and policy sign-offs, with a record of who has read what.
  • Probation and role changes, including removing access a person no longer needs.
  • Leaving well: exit interview, final pay checklist and a handover of what they knew.
  • An audit trail that feeds Bastion when a client or auditor asks for proof.

Why it is different

HR software handles the contract and IT handles the laptop, but nobody joins the two. Threshold is the joined-up record that security questionnaires and insurers increasingly ask for.

AI and automation

Choosing a role creates the whole checklist and assigns every task. A leaving date sets off access removal and equipment return reminders, and with directory links, accounts are created and closed on schedule. AI reads a new role description and suggests the access and equipment it needs, and flags access a person holds that others in the same role do not.

First release
